TriChicks is a Women's only Triathlon squad based in Melbourne. It was created to give women access to professional coaching in a relaxed, non -intimidating environment. Our aim is to EMPOWER, EDUCATE and help you ACHIEVE your goals by stepping out of your comfort zone and giving triathlons a go. We welcome all fitness levels, sizes, and ages. Come train with a great bunch of women, who like to keep fit, challenge themselves, learn new skills and create lasting friendships.

On their own, wetsuits are not propulsive. Throw one into a lake and regardless of price it will not move. You need to make it work for you and the wetsuits needs to allow you to work within it. I have swum fast in $80 suits and more expensive suits. The common theme was that they were all well fitted well. Here are some tips to help you find and fit the right suit for you!
Swimming in anything but the pool can be quite scary even for advanced swimmers. I admit, I have cried into my goggles plenty of times with visions of Jaws circling me underneath and is probably a part of my race plan. The quicker I swim – the less chance I have of getting eaten by a shark. But with anything the more you practice, the less intimating it becomes and the better you get. Here are my 5 favourite drills to help you prepare for swimming in the Open Water.
We have all been sore after spending time in the saddle. Saddle pain can make or break your riding experience. I often speak to riders who are getting a lot of pain and assume that that is just part of cycling. Well it’s not. Don’t get me wrong there are days when you can be sore after spending a long time in the saddle. But there are definitely ways to avoid unnecessary pain and discomfort. Here are some of my tips;
Bacterial infections, yeast infections and sores in the groin, upper leg and butt are uncomfortable and embarrassing, and may force you to take time off from cycling. The most common sores include blocked or infected glands, which show up as lumps in the form of cysts, chafing problems and pain in the pelvic bone area where your weight may be resting.
